The Values Education subject aims to cultivate students' positive values and attitudes, help them to tackle various difficulties and challenges at different growth stages as well as apply good moral and living habits to their daily lives.
The school has formulated a school-based curriculum framework, which is divided into four key learning stages (junior primary, senior primary, junior secondary, and senior secondary). According to students' daily life, it is divided into six categories: personal, family, school, social, Community National & Global domains and work life. (senior secondary).Each key learning stage will have its own learning focus, and will also cover six categories. Life events will be used as examples to enable students to have comprehensive and balanced development, and through different forms of assessment, such as lessons, activities’ performance and teachers’ discussions in order to know the development of students’ values and attitudes.
In addition, the school also implements comprehensive and diversified models and strategies to promote 12 priority values and attitudes. Through these strategies students gradually establish build up positive values and constructive attitudes towards life through daily life, school procedures, and infiltration into different subjects and activities.
