Introduction
For various topics and based on the different abilities of individual students, various teaching strategies are applied, such as individual teaching, situational teaching, exploration, group activities and other teaching modes, to assist students in learning. While examples of daily living are used for explanation and demonstration, objects commonly seen in daily living are also used as teaching aids, making abstract concepts as concrete as possible to help students to master the learning contents. Information technology is applied to improve effectiveness in mathematics learning. Traditional physical teaching aids are modified to feature different textures, which can stimulate students' sense of touch and deepen their learning memory when they touch the aids. Activities are designed to let students connect mathematical concepts learned in the classroom with real-life situations, to cultivate their ability to think mathematically in daily living or during problem solving.
