Life Skills Training Room

The Life Skills Training Room provides a simulated area to train and enhance students’ self-care and home living skills, such as dressing, grooming, house cleaning and simple cooking, etc. Suitable rehabilitation equipment will be assessed and selected to assist in the training. It will also be used to prepare students to leave school in conjunction with the New Senior Secondary (“NSS”) curriculum.

Special equipment includes:

Adjustable height kitchen cabinets and cooking worktops, adjustable height and transferable bathroom equipment (e.g. washbasin, commode chair, shower, etc.). The purpose is to provide assessment and training for students of all needs, abilities, heights and ages.
