Life-wide Learning Outdoor Activity

The Humanities curriculum arranges all classes to carry out life-wide learning activities – outdoor learning – to make good use of class time to enrich the life-wide learning experience and promote students' whole-person development. For example, students will visit government departments to understand the work of different government departments and individual civic responsibilities; visit the Hong Kong Museum of History or related exhibitions to understand the historical development of different dynasties and learn to appreciate Chinese culture through the appreciation of artifacts, thematic display panels and experiential activities; visit the Hong Kong Palace Museum to appreciate precious historical artifacts and learn to appreciate and pass on Chinese culture. The Humanities subject also arranges outdoor learning for students on national security education or understanding Chinese culture, such as visiting the Hong Kong Museum of History, the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, Golden Bauhinia Square, etc., to enable students to understand Chinese culture and that Hong Kong is an inseparable part of China and enhance students' national identity.
